Three Senior Living Operators in Texas Choose CarePredict’s AI-Powered Solution to Increase Resident Satisfaction and Engage Their Workforce
LifeWell, Avanti, and Traditions are among the Senior Living Operators in Texas that have already installed or will soon be deploying CarePredict’s end-to-end AI-powered platform for senior care.
Fort Lauderdale, Fla., March 22, 2019 — CarePredict, the leading digital health company in senior care that predicts health risks in residents and helps communities achieve an increased average length of stay, today announced that their solution has been adopted by three senior living operators installing the solution in eight communities across Texas. Communities using CarePredict are seeing a 61 percent better staff response time, 22 percent reduction in falls and a 4-month increase in Average Length of Stay (ALOS). CarePredict is providing a competitive advantage to Lifewell Senior Living communities located across Texas, and Avanti Senior Living’s TowneLake and Tradition’s Speedway and Woodway communities are scheduled to be equipped with the AI-driven platform by May 2019.
CarePredict’s end-to-end platform consists of remote sensing technologies, a smart wearable, and deep learning nets that continuously observe, learn, and trigger just-in-time care for seniors. CarePredict’s lightweight sensors, Tempo™, are specially designed for seniors and collect rich data sets on the senior’s activity and behaviors unobtrusively and autonomously. Machine learning and unique kinematics algorithms are then used to quantify activities performed by the senior, such as eating, sleeping, walking, grooming, and so on. CarePredict uses these unique data sets to train its deep learning neural nets to surface insights that provide early warning of a wide range of potential concerns including the probability of depression, urinary tract infection and increased fall risk.
CarePredict offers full insights to operators on workforce productivity including time to respond, document actual care services provided and tracks caregiver-resident caregiving time automatically. For residents, Tempo provides the ability to open doors, log into supported exercise machines for their personalized exercise regimen and provides a concierge services button to notify staff of assistance needed and two-way voice for staff to understand the need before attending, helping to prioritize care for the most urgent needs. All of this is made possible by CarePredict’s advanced machine learning algorithms and industry-leading precision real-time location of residents and staff.
“We are thrilled to be an integral part of the safely aging solution for some of Texas’ most innovating senior communities,” said Greg Zobel, COO, CarePredict. “The reason our technology is attractive to senior living communities is because it is a single platform that addresses the needs of both the residents and staff. Our solution helps communities keep their residents safer longer, thereby increasing the average length of stay. It provides the staff with a one-glance health dashboard of all residents so they can prioritize and effectively manage care.”
“As LifeWell Senior Living’s point person for implementing and training staff on the technologies we use, I have spent the last four years experimenting and uating wearables for our residents,” said Director of Lifestyle Innovation, Schon Alkire.“Never have I seen such a comprehensive solution — AI-driven health and wellness insights, Real-time location visibility, wander management, resident alerts, electronic lock access, and staff productivity insights – and they are just getting started! I believe CarePredict is going to change the way the world delivers senior care.”
CarePredict will be showcasing their solution at 2019 TALA Annual Conference, Booth 203, April 1-4 at Galveston, Texas. To schedule a demo or for more information, email [email protected]
